Residency & Fellowship

A two-year independent program that included rotations at The Methodist Hospital, St. Joseph’s Medical Center, UT-Memorial Hermann Hospital, Texas Children’s Hospital, and LBJ County Hospital. There was a clinical focus on microvascular breast and lower extremity reconstruction and as chief resident, I oversaw the clinic at LBJ and performed all related reconstructive operations.

This was a six-year program with a research year between the second and third clinical years.

One year of bench research focusing on wound healing in a mouse model under the supervision of two NIH funded investigators, Drs. SA Corbett and MA Schwarz.
